You know that deep sense of "all is well"? The one that goes down from your head to your toes, and fills your bones? And you want to stay right there and experience this joy over and over again.

This is that place for me. A little nook where I find rest. And where I hope to share with you what He is opening my eyes to {really} see. Some days, it is the gift of simple beauty. Other days, it is the gift of hard brokenness.

It comes unexpected. Through the unlikely. And fully undeserved.

But every day, it is always, unfolding.

Will you journey with me and, together, receive the gift of all that's grace?

{Part Five of Five} Gift. The act of giving. Something given voluntarily without payment in return. Present. Today is the last day of my journey with the Wise Men. It all started with a Moment. Then there was Wisdom. Receiving. Glory. And it comes to an end ~ which is really just the beginning ~ with […]

{Day Four} Glory. Very great honor; adoration; majestic beauty and splendor; brilliance. As you know, I’ve been lingering a little with the Wise Men, in these last days of December. {Day Three} Receive. To take or acquire (something given or offered); hold or contain; accept. An empty glass can only give a drink, after it is poured into. An empty box can only give a surprise, after it is filled. The wise men’s treasures, though costly, were but empty offerings for this King of the […]

I have been quiet {here} for a little while. He has me in a secret place, growing my roots deeper…”training for a lifetime of friendship with God, an eternity.” Because as Sara Hagerty says, “When transactional beings who live in a world focused on productivity meet a relational God, we *do need training for how […]

Father, As we await for the outcome of this historic day of the Presidential election, we choose to wait with confidence.  All the worrying in the world, doesn’t make You wring your holy hands in wonder.  And there isn’t a FOX, CNN, or ABC analyst that knows more than You do. You have already sovereignly […]

I am on a little journey, and I am leaving behind some old thinking. {Here. Here. Here. Here. And, last but not least, right here.} And the new, more glorious views that I take in along the way will come in the form of my prayers — because I am afraid // Of falling. Of not being enough. Of […]
